Local legend, 2000 Chambers Rd:
 
  This asylum  was established in 1914. Legends tells of escapees into the woods close by never being found.  The most recent incident was an escapee taking a hammer to someone living close by. People had told of seeing weird sightings and the sounds of screams in the woods by the asylum. 

   Asylum is still in full operation.

 

Strand Theater, 101 S State St
 
  A former employee of this theater reported experiencing many paranormal events while working here in the late 90s. She reported hearing a male voice call her name only to realize there was no one there. She also told of lights near the stage would turn on or off of their own. She reported that the projection area, and restrooms held the most activity.

 

Cass City

Bridge Haunting, Crawford Rd:
  
 Locals tell of  a young lady got in a horse and buggy accident in the 1880's. Her buggy wheel went off the bridge and flipped, she drown in 2 feet of water. On foggy summer nights many claim you can see her hand come up over the road and hear her pleas for help!

   Crawford Rd. does not extend to the bridge any longer. There is a GPS location in the link above.
